For the last month you had been dating Gilbert and you thought it would work out since you have known each other since like 1st grade.
But boy… where you wrong…
The beginning of your relationship was probably one of the happiest times in your life. But then he took a nosedive. He had been going out drinking with his friends in the BTT; yes he would drink beer… A LOT, but he never went out to clubs. Especially since he was underage; you didn't like it, but you over looked it because you thought it wasn't too bad. But then at about the halfway point of your relationship you didn't see him for a week, and he didn't bother to text you or call you. You overlooked it again since you weren't the kind of person to judge people. Then one day at school you saw him outside of the school… Smoking?
You dont like the idea of smokers, you knew they could be nice, in fact you were friends with a few; but you never hung out with them when they were actualy doing it. Just in-hailing the smell of that crap they were putting in their bodies made you want to leave. So you normally would but if it was unavoidable you would sometimes test how long you could hold your breath as you walked by. You knew how many people died from smoking, but seeing your boyfriend doing it felt like you had been stabbed in the chest.
You also noticed him and his friends where hanging around with those annoying chicks who wear short skirts and pretty much bras as shirts. You hate those kind of girls; were did their pride go? Wearing that kind of outfit and then bragging about how they got knocked up or something stupid. You hated them even more now since they were all over your boyfriend, but you began to get even angrier since he seemed to be enjoying it.   
Not wanting to be around while he was killing his lungs, you just sadly walked towards your school but then you smelled smoke and felt an arm around your waist. You looked up to see none other than Gilbert.
  "Where have you been frau?" he asked with a smirk.
You coughed from the black ash that was just blown in your face, "Sorry to answer your question with a question; but where have YOU been?" you crossed your arms.
"What's with the tude? You should be happy to be going out with the awesomest guy in school." he asked in a pissed off way.
"Just answer my question please" you said sadly.
Just then one of the girls walked up to you and Gilbert, "Hey Gilly~ wanna hang out with me again later?" She said in a flirty tone; yeah you knew what she meant by that.
"Of course!" he said happily.
You could tell she smoked too; she walked back over to where the BTT was.    
You were on the verge of crying, "What did she mean by that?"
"Exactly what you thought; you're too shy. But that's what makes you cute." He smirked pulling you closer.
You slapped his face and then pulled away from him, "what was that?! How dare you hit the awesome Gilbert!?"
He then shoved you to the ground; you pulled yourself up and glared at him, "Awesome? No… My FRIEND Gilbert is way more awesome than you. And you're definitely NOT him."
Then the BTT walked up with their girlfriends and the girls you saw earlier.
Gilbert then put his arm back around your waist and glared at you, "Shut up and look pretty." He said.
Was he seriously just using you as a trophy now?!
"Who is zis mon ami?" asked Francis.
"This is my girlfriend ________." He said with a fake smile.
You looked around, "Is there another ______ here? Because I feel pretty bad for her." you asked him.
He looked at you angrily still trying to smile, "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked.
You pushed yourself away from him smiling sweetly, "Exactly what you thought." You tapped his nose and began to walk away.
"Did you just break up with the awesome me?!" he yelled.
You turned slightly, "Nope~ I just broke up with the Un-Awesome two timing jerk." You stuck out your tongue and put your finger below your eye.
After seeing the look on your face his mouth dropped.
You smiled sweetly and waved, "Bye whoever you are~!" you yelled to him as you skipped to the school.
You then went to the back of the school where you usually hung out and slid down the wall of the school and a few tears fell. If it were anyone else you would have shook it off. But this was one of your best friends from elementary school…
You hung your head in your hands and began to cry.

Alfred's Pov~
I was sitting in homeroom talking to some of my friends from the many sports teams I was on. From the corner of my eye I looked to my friend _________'s desk.
'Is she not here? No! She has never missed a day of school!' I stood up quickly from my seat.
"Hey guys! Tell the teacher me and ______ are present!" I yelled as I ran out of the class room.
They all looked to each other, "Why would he hang out with her?"
Alfred clenched his fists, 'Sure she may not be popular, but she is cooler than all the other girls I've met.
Those other girl just hang around me to be popular, they are all self centered.'
"If any of you say that again, you won't be forgiven." I glared at them.
They knew better than to get on my bad side.
I ran down the halls and out of the school to the front yard where he found Gil.
I hated Gil since we came to this school, he seemed to into himself but I ignored it for _________. Since they were going out after all.
"Hey Gil where's __________?" I asked.
"I couldn't care less about where she is, a useless girl like her is not worth my time." He shrugged.
'That's it!' I grabbed the collar of his sweatshirt and slammed him against the brick wall of the school, "What did you just say you *******?!"
"She dumped me this morning; I couldn't care less about where she is."
"Alright I'm through being the nice guy! And taking second to a Jerk like you!" I clenched my fist and drew it back before I had my fist make contact with his face.
Gil fell to the ground and held his hand to his face.
"What the hell?!" he yelled.
"That's what you get! You probably let getting popular for a week go to your head! You're just like the people the awesome trio; wait make that the awesome duo despised!" I yelled.
"You don't deserve her! And this hero won't let you hurt her anymore! She was so hurt when you never called her! You never texted! I'm glad she broke up with you!" I turned and ran into the school and to the spot where the awesome tri- duo always hangs out since no one goes there.
When I turned the corner to the backyard I saw a sight that broke my heart, _______ was crying while sitting against the school.
I walked up to her and kneeled down next to her, "_____... are you ok?"
She looked up with tears in her eyes; if seeing her sad broke my heart this killed me.

________'s pov~
I looked up and saw a blurry Alfred, 'oh no!' I quickly wiped my eyes.
I tried to smile, "H-hey Alfie. Sorry I wasn't in homeroom my, allergies were acting up." I tried to camouflage the fact that I was crying.
I looked down and wiped my eyes again, and then I felt a pair of arms around me. I looked up to find Alfred.
"It's ok… You don't have to hide it… I already know…" he patted me on the back.
   
No ones pov~
You hugged Alfred back and cried into his bomber jacket.
"Shhh… It's all going to be ok."
After you had calmed down you looked up at him, "Thank you Alfred."
"No problem," he smiled "And uh… I know it may be a little sudden but um… would you maybe let me… be your hero?" He was blushing but he never broke eye contact with you.
A few tears escaped your eyes, "D- did I make you sad? I'm so sorry! I just- uh! Seeing you so sad broke my heart and-!" You cut him off with a kiss.
Then you pulled away, Alfred was blushing and staring at you.
"They were happy tears Alfred, I couldn't be happier!" You smiled at him.
He picked you up and spun you around, "Thanks so much! Your hero won't let you down!" He gave you a kiss on the cheek.
You blushed.
"So what would your super hero name be?" you asked.
He thought about it, "I'll just be your very own captain America!" He exclaimed.
You laughed.
"Let's get back to class ____! I'm sure Mathias will be here by now." Alfred said.
You nodded.
You walked back to class and ran into Gilbert, he smirked.
"Francis and Antonio saw me get beat up and dumped; so they kicked me out of the group. I decided to come back to the awesome duo, so I guess it's the awesome trio again. Oh and I decided to take you back _______." Said your x-boyfriend.
"Sorry Gil; but she's with me now." Alfred pulled you closer, "Oh and we don't need a third person we already have one, and its ____!"
Gilbert quickly left.
